A weeping willow is my favorite tree. The strong majestic nature as the delicate leaves sway in the breeze is soothing to me. 
This painting was inspired by a trip we took in the Mark Twain National Forest. Standing along a river bank, proudly overlooking the forest, I found this rare beauty.
